Sitting at the edge of the desert overlooking the Arabian Gulf, the Desert Camp provides an unparalleled experience amid the foreboding landscape of the sand dunes of Qatar.

An exclusive low-rise resort in the desert surrounded by gently sloping dunes and natural desert landscape, the camp provides guests a one of its kind traditional desert experience that is true to the culture and heritage of Qatar. The lay- out of the site responds to the shifting topography of the dunes consisting of private rooms, beach gazebos, a majlis, dining tent and an outdoor bonfire area. The camp is composed of 30 traditional Arabian tents that have been modernized to sustain their unique setting. Each tent utilizes a double skin, the external layer provides a protective layer against the winds of the desert while the interior layer embraces the Arabian character. The tent typology provides a unique experience while embracing the vernacular of the Arabian Desert and roots of the Arabian people.
